Role Summary

Join Sri Lanka’s leading diamond manufacturing company. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gem Assorter to inspect, identify, sort, and grade gemstones according to their variety, size, shape, colour, clarity, cut, and overall quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, identify, sort, and grade gemstones.
• Use microscopes, jeweller's loupes, and other gem-testing tools.
• Maintain accurate sorting and grading records.
• Meet quality and productivity standards.
• Travel across Sri Lanka when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Gemology from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Hands-on experience in gemstone identification, assorting, and grading. Gem-assorting or related experience is an advantage.
• Skills: Knowledge of gemstone varieties and grading criteria; excellent eyesight and colour vision; ability to use microscopes and jeweller's loupes accurately.
• Attributes: Strong teamwork, accuracy, reliability, and willingness to work shifts.
• Travel: Ability and willingness to travel across Sri Lanka.
