Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify local and international funding opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, donor reports and project documentation.
- Coordinate project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting activities.
- Develop project budgets, work plans, presentations and progress reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, government institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders.
- Support fundraising initiatives and partnership development efforts.
- Prepare organizational publications, annual reports and promotional materials.
- Support communications initiatives and organizational visibility.
- Conduct project monitoring visits and document project achievements and impact.
- Perform additional program and operational responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in project coordination, proposal writing, grant management, fundraising, or the NGO/development sector will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing, report writing presentation design and document formatting skills.
- Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Canva, presentation design, and AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini or similar).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel for project-related activities when required.
- Knowledge of website content management and website updates (WordPress or similar CMS) will be an added advantage.
- Applicants below 40 years of age are preferred.
