Group Chief Financial Officer (Designate)

Role Summary

SriLankan Airlines is seeking a visionary Group Chief Financial Officer (Designate) to join the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the incumbent CFO during a structured transition period.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the organization's financial strategy and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives.
• Provide timely and strategic financial insights to the CEO, Board, and senior stakeholders.
• Cultivate and manage key relationships with financiers, suppliers, and government bodies.
• Manage the airline's funding strategy and lead financial risk mitigation initiatives.
• Uphold the highest standards of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Champion digital finance transformation and process automation.

Qualifications

• Member of a recognized professional accountancy body, with qualifications equivalent to a degree.
• 20 years work experience with 15 years at post-qualifying managerial level in Finance.
• A Masters degree in a related field will be considered as an added advantage.
• Upper age limit is 55 years as of 13th July 2026.
• Open to Sri Lankan citizens only.
