Role: Group Engineer

MA's Kitchen is a well-known food manufacturer in Sri Lanka, with four manufacturing facilities situated in key growing regions. We manufacture over 300 different products for customers in local and global markets. Our unwavering commitment revolves around providing outstanding culinary solutions to the Retail, Hotels, Restaurants & Catering (HoReCa), and Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing engineering and technical teams at multiple production sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of production equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the work of maintenance technicians and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Oversee management of spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
• Ensure detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Mechanical or Mechatronic (Preferred) Engineer qualification with at least 7 years' experience in manufacturing facilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Location

The position is based at the company's production facility in Dambulla, and board and lodging are provided on-site.
