Hardware Support Engineer

Role Overview

InfoTech Computers is seeking a motivated Hardware Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to clients throughout Colombo and surrounding areas. This role focuses on maintaining hardware infrastructure and ensuring seamless IT operations for our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the setup, installation, and repair of IT hardware.
• Overseeing server environments, storage solutions, and data backup systems.
• Performing maintenance on peripheral devices, including printers.
• Configuring network hardware and CCTV security installations.
• Delivering both remote and on-site technical support to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
• NVQ Level 4 certification or an equivalent IT qualification.
• Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English.
• Must possess a valid motorcycle riding license.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as business needs dictate.

Note: Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Trainee IT Support Technician position, contingent upon a successful probationary period.
