Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve category sales and profitability targets.
  • Manage the overall product portfolio, including pricing, promotions, and market positioning.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, consultants, and key customers.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and product availability.
  • Monitor inventory, forecasts, and stock movements to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct product presentations, customer visits, and training programs.
  • Prepare sales reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
  • Drive category growth while maintaining customer satisfaction and service standards.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in category management, sales, or business development within the electrical, air conditioning, hardware, or building materials industry.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of the above categories and the local market.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
