SriLankan Airlines Manager Corporate Investigations Vacancy Description SriLankan Airlines Ltd, the national carrier of Sri Lanka operates with a network of destinations throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Australia. Purpose: Ensure the effective oversight and strategic direction of the investigations function and travel document verification processes across all UL flight operations, by leading, guiding, and elevating the performance of the investigations team to safeguard the company's operational credibility and uphold its reputation at every level. Key responsibilities will include; Oversee investigation quality and strategic direction, escalating critical cases to leadership, while representing the company to law enforcement, government, and regulatory authorities. Take overall accountability for the planning, allocation, and optimization of manpower, logistical, and operational requirements for both the Investigations and Document Checking functions, ensuring resources are effectively utilized and all sectional budgetary allocations are managed responsibly and within approved limits. Provide strategic leadership and oversight for prosecution related and Disciplinary Inquiry (DI) cases, ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards. Lead and mentor the investigations team, audit case processes for quality and gaps, and take charge of resolving critical incidents and high-profile cases swiftly and professionally. Audit investigation and document verification processes to maintain high operational standards. Lead and mentor the Investigations and Document Checkers teams, setting performance expectations and building a motivated, high-performing workforce. Report on investigation outcomes, verification performance, and compliance risks to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Lead, mentor, and manage the Investigations and Document Checkers teams, setting clear performance expectations, identifying development needs, and building a high-performing, professional, and motivated workforce. Collaborate with divisional heads to align investigation activities with organizational objectives and policies. Responsible the annual budget for Safety and Service Trainings, ensuring adequate manpower and equipment while accounting for business continuity plans and future company requirements. Requirements Bachelors degree with 6 years overall work experience, in either of the following areas; Legal/ compliance/ Investigation/ Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations and out of which 4 years in Managerial capacity or similar in relevant discipline and or with 12 years experience in Police as a Superintendent of Police (SP). OR Attorney-at-Law of Sri Lanka with 6 years overall work experience, in either of the following areas. Legal/ Compliance/ Investigation/ Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations and out of which 4 years in Managerial capacity or similar in a relevant discipline and or with 12 years’ experience in Police as a Superintendent of Police (SP). Age to be not more than 55 years as at 27th July 2026 which is the closing date. Be a Sri Lankan Citizen. Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
