The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's liquidity, optimizing funding costs, and diversifying our borrowing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for banks and financial institutions to ensure seamless credit facilities and operational banking support.
- Funding Diversification: Lead the identification and arrangement of alternative funding sources (e.g. debt instruments, securitizations) beyond traditional bank borrowings.
- Liquidity & Risk Management: Monitor cash flow requirements and oversee market liquidity risk within the ALCO framework.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide the Board and Senior Management with insights on market trends, interest rate movements, and cost-of-funds optimization.
Requirements/Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accountancy.
- Professional qualifications in treasury, investment, and Risk Management.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a Treasury function within a bank or a reputed Finance Company.
- Network: An established network within the local banking sector and international developmental financial institutions (DFIs) is a distinct advantage.
