Role Summary

Perfetti Van Melle Lanka (Private) Limited is seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as a Safety Executive at our state-of-the-art production facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures in compliance with company and legal requirements.
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
• Organize and conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and maintain emergency response systems, including fire prevention and safety equipment.
• Conduct internal safety audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Safety / SHE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Sound knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations, risk assessment and incident investigation procedures.
• Good communication, training and coordination skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and report preparation.
