Staff Officer - HES & Sustainability

Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate HES (Health, Environment & Safety) and sustainability activities across company operations.
- Implement and maintain the Incident Management System and ensure effective incident management practices.
- Conduct regular EHS and compliance walkthroughs and follow up on identified findings through corrective action plans.
- Support effective Chemical Management, including monitoring chemical compliance and ensuring timely corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Conduct EHS training for employees and support awareness initiatives.
- Support resource-efficiency initiatives aimed at reducing energy, water, and material consumption.
- Monitor and collect electricity, fuel, and water consumption data and support monthly sustainability reporting.
- Monitor solid and hazardous waste management, including segregation, storage, and disposal, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
Skill Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Chemical & Process Engineering, Sustainability, Physical Science, Manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in the Textile Industry will be an added advantage.
