Role Summary

Fort Heritage Ventures is looking for enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team at our premium dining establishment located in the heart of Matara Fort.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Chef De Partie (CDP)

• 5–8 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Strong expertise in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, spice blending, and high-volume Rice & Curry production.
• Excellent leadership, kitchen management, and quality control skills.

2. Commis I (Hot Kitchen & Pastry)

• Previous experience in a fast-paced hot kitchen and/or pastry section.
• Ability to assist in food preparation while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Passion for delivering quality food within service timelines.

3. Stewarding / Kitchen Hand

• Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and washing kitchen equipment.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required.
• Hardworking, punctual, and a team player.

4. Bar Supervisor (Full-Time)

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and beverage operations.
• Experience in bar inventory management, ordering, menu planning, and team supervision.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

5. Barista (Full-Time / Part-Time)

• Experience operating a manual espresso machine.
• Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and latte art.
• Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.

6. Trainee – Front House Service

• A warm, engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering seamless, high-end service.
• Previous experience in the industry is an advantage, but eagerness to learn and grow is equally valued.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
