Grand Oriental Hotel - owned by BOC (also previously known as the Taprobane Hotel) is a heritage hotel, located in the heart of the business district overlooking the harbor. The Grand Oriental Hotel was officially opened on 05 November 1875, and has 80 rooms and 4 Banquet Halls, has the following vacancy.
Available Roles
- AC Technician: Install, service and repair AC & refrigeration systems; Routine inspections and preventive maintenance; Diagnose and resolve HVAC issues promptly.
- Multi-Task Technician: General maintenance across hotel facilities; Plumbing, carpentry, painting and minor repairs; Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Electrician: Install, maintain and repair electrical systems; Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs; Ensure work complies with safety standards.
- IT Assistant: Provide first-line IT support to staff; Maintain hardware, software and network systems; Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors.
- Banquet Assistant: Set up and prepare banquet halls for events; Assist with service during banquets and functions; Maintain cleanliness and equipment standards.
- Senior Waiter: Lead table service and guide junior waiters; Ensure guests receive attentive, quality service; Coordinate with kitchen and banquet teams.
- Waiter: Take orders and serve food and beverages; Maintain cleanliness of dining areas; Provide courteous, prompt guest service.
- Receptionist: Welcome guests and manage check-in / check-out; Handle reservations, calls and guest enquiries; Coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Trainee Receptionist: Assist front office team with daily operations; Learn check-in, check-out and reservation systems; Support guests with information and requests.
