Housekeeper
Housekeeper – La Muraille, Galle Fort
La Muraille, a boutique villa located within the historic Galle Fort, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces to a high standard
- Ensure rooms are properly prepared and presented before guest arrival
- Handle daily housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and linen changes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping areas and supplies
- Assist with guest requests when required
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Maintain a warm, discreet, and professional approach towards guests
- Work closely with the villa management team to ensure a smooth guest experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a boutique villa, villa, or luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, responsible, and well-organised
- Friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required
- Experience with laundry and handling delicate fabrics is an advantage
