Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Manager - Human Resources will play a pivotal role in developing and executing people strategies that support business growth, organizational excellence, and a high-performance culture across the Company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement strategic Human Resource initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Design and implement Key Performance Indicator (KPI) frameworks and productivity measurement systems.
  • Develop and enhance the Performance Management Framework using modern evaluation techniques.
  • Develop and implement Competency Frameworks across all employee categories.
  • Introduce and manage modern selection techniques and recruitment methodologies.
  • Develop behavioral assessment criteria to evaluate leadership potential and core competencies.
  • Lead employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Apply workforce planning, job evaluation, and manpower optimization strategies.
  • Utilize HR analytics and data-driven decision-making to support strategic planning.
  • Review and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs in line with Sri Lankan Labour Laws and corporate governance.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture promoting accountability and innovation.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree and/or professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within Banking, Finance, or Leasing.
  • Demonstrated experience in KPI frameworks, competency frameworks, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Strong practical knowledge of HR techniques, including competency mapping, psychometric assessments, and talent review processes.
  • Hands-on experience in modern selection techniques and behavioral interviewing.
  • Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, and corporate governance for Licensed Finance Companies.
  • High professional integrity, strong commercial acumen, and leadership abilities.
