Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing people strategies that support business growth, organizational excellence, and a high-performance culture across the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement strategic Human Resource initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Design and implement Key Performance Indicator (KPI) frameworks and productivity measurement systems.
- Develop and enhance the Performance Management Framework, including competency-based assessments and 360-degree feedback.
- Develop and implement Competency Frameworks across all employee categories.
- Introduce and manage modern selection techniques, including psychometric assessments, assessment centers, and structured interviews.
- Develop behavioral assessment criteria to evaluate leadership potential and core competencies.
- Lead employee engagement, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
- Apply workforce planning, job evaluation, and manpower optimization strategies.
- Utilize HR analytics to support strategic planning and organizational performance.
- Review and implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs in line with Sri Lankan Labour Laws and corporate governance standards.
- Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture promoting accountability and innovation.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree and/or professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within Banking, Finance, or Leasing.
- Demonstrated experience in KPI frameworks, competency frameworks, and strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong practical knowledge of HR techniques, including talent review processes and workforce planning.
- Hands-on experience in modern selection and behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, and corporate governance practices.
- High professional integrity, strong commercial acumen, and leadership ability.
