ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our multi-outlet business. The role reports to the Managing Director and is based in Colombo.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end recruitment: job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
- Design and manage performance appraisal systems and talent reviews.
- Identify training needs and implement learning & development programs.
- Manage employee relations: grievances, conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan employment law, labor regulations and company policies.
- Oversee HR administration, record-keeping and HR reporting/metrics.
- Coordinate payroll-related HR tasks with Finance and manage benefits administration.
- Drive employee engagement, retention initiatives and culture-building activities.
- Provide HR guidance to management on workforce planning and organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR role (ideally 5+ years).
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Sri Lankan labor law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Preferred: experience in retail/F&B or multi-outlet operations; HR certification (CIPD/SHRM or local equivalent).
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems.
