HR Officer – Bandaragama Factory

J.N. INTERIORS is a leading interior designing and civil construction company which has earned its reputation for interior designing in Sri Lanka since 1998. As part of our expansion, we have established a new furniture factory in Bandaragama, equipped with advanced machinery and the latest manufacturing technologies. We are seeking an experience, dedicated and responsible HR Officer to take charge of the complete HR function at our factory to support our future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the complete HR function at the factory
• Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, and documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR files
• Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and employee-related records
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters
• Support payroll-related HR information and coordination
• Ensure compliance with company HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate employee welfare and engagement activities
• Maintain good communication between management and factory employees
• Support performance management and staff development
• Assist management with all other HR-related matters at the factory

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
• Previous experience in an HR role, preferably in a factory/manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function
