KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan Labour Laws, EPF, ETF, Shop & Office Act, Wages Board regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee payroll administration in coordination with the Finance Department.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, grievances, and industrial relations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and KPI implementation.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programmes.
- Maintain HR records, reports, and HRIS.
- Advise management on HR best practices and organizational development.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years in an executive capacity.
- Experience in the construction, manufacturing, or engineering industry will be highly advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll software.
- Excellent command of English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an added advantage).
