Maintenance Assistant (A/C Technician)

Role Summary

UN Consortium is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant (A/C Technician) to support the maintenance and smooth operation of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Carry out electrical troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Undertake masonry, minor civil works, painting and general building repairs.
• Attend to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist with all facility maintenance activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Valid technical certifications will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems and air conditioning equipment.
• Practical experience in plumbing, masonry, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.
• Good work ethic, reliability and willingness to respond to emergency maintenance requirements.
• Possession of a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
