Industrial Engineering Intern
Role Summary
As an Intern – Industrial Engineering, you will assist the Industrial Engineering team in achieving production efficiency targets by supporting the accurate calculation of SMV/SAH, preparing Yamazumi charts, assisting with production line balancing, and optimizing machinery and manpower layouts. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production methods, reduce SMV, increase operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with the organization's health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-production activities to support the achievement of the targeted Production Start Date for the assigned section.
- Assist the Industrial Engineering team with day-to-day activities to support planned efficiency and productivity targets for the assigned sections.
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely calculations, such as SAH and efficiency reports for each style, under the guidance of the team.
- Support IE Officers with assigned tasks and participate in training and learning activities to develop knowledge of Industrial Engineering processes.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering / Clothing Technology.
