THE PROFILE

Review and update the IT security Policy periodically.
Review existing IT related policies and procedures and identify any gaps and ensure such gaps are addressed by liaising with the respective stakeholders.
Review applications used by the company for any Information Security Issues.
Provide relevant Information security awareness training to all key staff within the organization.
Monitor the stability and security of IT infrastructure by performing ad hoc and regular testing / verifications.
Escalate IT incidents to the Management with a risk analysis along with proposed corrective measures for the betterment of the company.
Ensure all regulatory frameworks introduced by the regulator is adopted by the company and implemented by the company within the stipulated timeframes.

THE PERSON

Bachelor's Degree in Information Security from a recognized university or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, computer science, or Information Systems Management from a recognized university along with one of the following qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
- Information Security Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor (ISO27001).
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Information Security with a key focus on Information Security Policy and Program Management in a reputed organization. (Preferably in a finance institution)
Experience in handling Information Security Policy and Governance would be an added advantage.
