Infrastructure and Building Services Line Manager
Role Summary
Bureau Veritas is a world leader in Laboratory Testing, Inspection and Certification services. We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and technically competent professional to lead our Building & Infrastructure Service Line in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual business strategy and growth plan for the Building & Infrastructure service line.
- Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients, projects, and key accounts.
- Expand market share in construction, infrastructure, transportation, renewable energy, industrial facilities, and public sector projects.
- Oversee Construction Supervision, Third Party Inspection (TPI), Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Vendor Inspection, Asset Integrity Services, and Technical Due Diligence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, project owners, government agencies, and funding institutions.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Monitor project financial performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Revenue Growth, Gross Margin Achievement, Operating Profit, New Business Acquisition, Order Intake and Sales Pipeline, and Customer Retention and Satisfaction.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree (MBA or Engineering Management) will be an added advantage.
- Professional Engineering Memberships and certifications will be highly desirable.
- Minimum 05-10 years of relevant experience within the Building, Infrastructure, Engineering, Construction, Inspection, Consulting, or Project Management sectors.
- Minimum 2 years in a senior management or leadership position with direct responsibility for business performance.
- Strong understanding of construction, infrastructure, industrial, and engineering project environments.
- Experience in TIC, consulting, engineering, or project services sectors will be a distinct advantage.
