The Department of Sri Lanka Customs is conducting an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Inspector of Customs, Grade II.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as an Inspector of Customs within the Department of Sri Lanka Customs.
• Note: Officers may be required to work night shifts due to the nature of duties.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educational: Must have passed three main subjects at the GCE (A/L) examination in one sitting AND passed 6 subjects at the GCE (O/L) examination including Credit passes for Sinhala/Tamil Language and Mathematics.
• Age: Must be not less than 18 years and not more than 24 years of age as of the closing date of applications.
• Physical: Male applicants must be at least 5 feet 5 inches tall with a chest expansion of at least 33 inches. Female applicants must be at least 5 feet 3 inches tall.
• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Character: Must be of excellent moral character.
