Job Description / Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed variation quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and quotations for interior projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material and labour quantities.
• Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare material and cost breakdowns for interior and furniture works.
• Monitor actual project costs against budgets and identify cost variances.
• Prepare interim valuations, payments, invoices, and final accounts where required.
• Handle variations, additional works, and cost adjustments.
• Coordinate with the project team, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding project costs and quantities.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, purchases, materials, and subcontractor payments.
• Assist management in cost control and project profitability analysis.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field.
• Experience in interior fit-out, furniture, joinery, or construction QS work will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, costing, quantity take-offs, and cost control.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand architectural/interior drawings.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be willing to travel to sites.
