Intern - Global IT Infrastructure & Information Security

Location : HQ, Colombo

We're on the lookout for an Intern for our Infrastructure and Information Security team to support global enterprise applications, including ERP, Microsoft O365, and other critical system providing technical and infrastructure support across our diverse application landscape.

Job Description :

• Provide support for global O365 product categories (Exchange online, SharePoint, Teams) Troubleshoot issues, access management, etc.
• Provide remote technical support to global users, troubleshooting and resolving Level 1 (L1) IT issues.
• Assist with user Windows endpoint configuration, enrolment, compliance checks, software deployment, patching, encryption verification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Enterprise Applications Access Control: Manage user security access for the ERP Application and other applications managed by Global IT.
• Infrastructure Security: Monitor Microsoft Azure Infra security dashboards, take necessary actions, and deal with top-notch security applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to support and contribute to new implementations.

Position Requirements :

• Currently pursuing a degree or higher diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Networking, or a related discipline.
• Foundational understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking concepts, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and identity concepts; exposure to Azure or Microsoft Entra is an advantage.
• Holding or pursuing professional qualifications such as Microsoft Certifications or cybersecurity credentials is an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines, work under pressure and collaborate as a good team player.
