VIDEO EDITOR INTERN

Join Imperial Edutech — Sri Lanka's EdTech hub delivering internationally recognised professional courses across the UK and beyond. We're looking for a motivated Video Editor Intern to help us produce polished, engaging content for our growing YouTube channel and e-learning platforms.

What You'll Do

• Edit webinar recordings and educational videos for our YouTube channel
• Trim, sequence, and refine raw footage into clean, engaging final cuts
• Add lower-thirds, captions, transitions, and branded graphic overlays
• Adjust audio levels, remove background noise, and sync audio
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to align content with brand guidelines
• Create short-form clips and highlights from longer webinar content
• Export videos in the correct format and quality standards for YouTube
• Maintain organised file management and meet agreed turnaround times

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for pacing and visual clarity
• Basic understanding of audio editing and colour correction
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a remote environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to incorporate feedback
• A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work (any format)
• Studying or recently graduated in Media, Film, Communications, or similar (preferred, not required)
