Manager - Internal Audit

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the annual internal audit plan, including centralized process audits, post audits, performance audits, and special assignments.
• Oversee internal and information systems audits, ensuring compliance with methodology, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Document and review audit working papers and reports; support the Head of Internal Audit in strengthening frameworks.
• Monitor audit recommendations, prepare submissions for the Audit Committee, and track action items.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Internal Audit team through performance management and coaching.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance governance, risk management, and internal control processes.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - ACA, or other full professional accountancy qualification/Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC recognized University/Institute.
• Preferred: Information Systems auditing qualification or insurance-related qualifications.
• Experience: 10 years in Internal Auditing in a reputed organization, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Manager grade. Prior experience in the insurance/finance industry is an added advantage.
• Age: Preferably below 40 years.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, proven people management skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
