Role Summary

We are looking for a responsible and energetic Account Executive – Inventory & Operations to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting stock management activities, participating in shipment unloading, and ensuring smooth inventory operations within our food distribution business.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
• Monitor stock movement and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Participate in unloading imported containers and local supplier deliveries.
• Verify received quantities and product conditions against purchase documents.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams during goods receiving.
• Ensure proper product storage following FIFO (First In First Out) procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department on inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor damaged, expired, and slow-moving inventory.
• Maintain proper documentation for GRNs, stock transfers, and inventory records.
• Support warehouse operations to ensure accurate and efficient stock handling.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Male candidate only.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse operations, stores, or accounting will be an added advantage.
• Working background in auditing is must.
• Good understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Excel, Word, and inventory/ERP systems.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala and English.
• Physically fit and willing to participate in shipment/container unloading activities.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Candidates residing close to Rathmalana will be given preference.
