Role Summary

Texlan Center (Pvt) Ltd is a BOI approved company operating in Sri Lanka for 38 years, specializing in the manufacturing of hosiery products for export as part of the Interloop Group. We are seeking dynamic, hardworking, and ambitious individuals for the positions of Executive - Stores and Officer - Stores.

Executive - Stores: Key Responsibilities

  • Manage goods receiving, issuing, ERP transactions, and related documentation (GRN/MRN) to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Process GRNs, receiving transactions, supplier records, item codes, purchase requisitions (PRs), and material orders (MOs).
  • Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and submit regular stores and inventory reports to management.
  • Coordinate with auditors, Finance, and other departments to support store operations.
  • Ensure effective stock control, optimum storage utilization, and overall inventory management.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean and 5S practices while ensuring compliance with EHS, company policies, and buyer requirements.

Executive - Stores: Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, or Inventory Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, stock audits, GRN/MRN processes, ERP systems, and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, EHS requirements, and compliance standards.

Officer - Stores: Key Responsibilities

  • Process Goods Received Notes (GRNs), receiving transactions, Material Orders (MOs), and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for GRNs and submit documentation to the Finance Department.
  • Coordinate with stores and other departments to ensure smooth inventory, procurement, and material transaction processes.
  • Support departmental operations, cross-functional activities, and special assignments delegated by the Head of Department (HOD).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, and EHS standards, and actively support Lean and 5S initiatives.

Officer - Stores: Qualifications & Experience

  • Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination.
  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Experience in ERP operations, stores, inventory, or supply chain functions is an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
