Role Summary

United Motors Lanka PLC is seeking a passionate, smart, and disciplined individual to join our team as an Investigation Officer to support our island-wide operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace investigations and disciplinary inquiries across company locations.
  • Record statements and gather relevant evidence for investigations.
  • Prepare investigation and inquiry reports within required timelines.
  • Liaise with employees, management, and other stakeholders during investigations.
  • Assist the Human Resources Department in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support HR operational activities related to disciplinary and investigative matters.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resources Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, investigations, military service, security operations, compliance, disciplinary inquiries, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel extensively to branch locations island-wide.
