Investment Accounting Professionals

(Associate to Managerial positions) for a Leading Europe-Based Insurance Client

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS 9, UK GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform month-end close activities and ensure timely deliverables.
• Reconcile investment and general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Record and review journal entries and account reclassifications.
• Support external and internal audits with accurate information.
• Identify process improvements and support control enhancements.
• Support system/tool implementations and enhancements.

Key Requirements

• Good knowledge of investment accounting under IFRS 9 and UK GAAP.
• Solid experience in reconciliations, journal entries, and complex accounting activities.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and complex spreadsheets.
• Hands-on experience in month-end close and control operations.
• Experience with investment accounting systems and general ledger platforms.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or part-qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, AAT).
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
