Investment Research Intern
Ambeon Securities, the equity brokerage arm of Ambeon Group, has built a strong track record of profitability and sustainable growth. We are looking for a motivated and analytical individual to join our Investment Research team as an Investment Research Intern. This role will provide practical exposure to equity research, financial analysis, market research, and investment strategies while supporting the team in generating insights for investment advisory activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and analysing financial data, including company financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators.
- Support senior research analysts in conducting research on industry sectors and individual companies.
- Monitor financial news, research reports, and market developments to identify potential investment risks and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing research updates, reports, and presentations accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Support the research team in day-to-day activities and special research projects.
- Work closely with senior analysts to develop skills in financial analysis, research methodologies, and investment strategies.
- Provide support on other responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Following CIMA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
- Strong interest in financial markets and investments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
