Assistant Manager/Manager - IT Audit Division

Role Summary

KPMG Sri Lanka is one of the largest professional services firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services. Our IT Audit team provides service-related controls around the financial reporting process, including IT application controls and IT general controls, as well as providing internal IT Audit services, IT processes, and control review and advice to audit and non-audit clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing an IT Audit portfolio as part of external financial audit assignments.
• Assisting financial audit teams in identifying and leveraging IT controls while addressing existing IT risks.
• Leading field engagement teams, coaching and mentoring junior staff, and reviewing the work of less experienced team members.
• Providing high-quality recommendations to audit teams and clients.
• Maintaining and delivering agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Building a good working relationship and network within KPMG and in the marketplace.
• Gaining exposure in working remotely for overseas KPMG offices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working in supporting financial audits with Big 4, or internal audits in a mid-senior level; experienced as an IT Manager.
• Preferably a CISA, CISM, or CISSP certification.
• Master/Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people across all levels of an organization.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while working under deadlines.
