Assistant Manager - IT Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, deploy, configure, and administer Windows Active Directory services and related infrastructure.
  • Administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and associated network devices.
  • Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and recovery testing activities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, network connectivity, and Wi-Fi-related issues.
  • Maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databases with a sound understanding of database administration fundamentals.
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall environments to ensure network security and compliance.
  • Provide prompt and effective support for end-user technical issues and IT service requests.
  • Ensure infrastructure security, system reliability, and adherence to IT operational standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support infrastructure-related projects and enhancements.
  • Experience with HCL Domino and IBM AIX environments will be considered a distinct advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in a Systems Administrator or Assistant Manager capacity within medium to large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in enterprise infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in server administration, virtualization, networking, and IT security technologies.
  • Ability to independently manage infrastructure-related incidents and operational tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as MCSE, RHCE/RHCA, CCNA, or CCNP will be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Preferred age range: 30 – 40 years.
