IT Support / System Administrator

Role Summary

Waterlily Labs is seeking a skilled IT professional located near Batticaloa to manage technical operations for our remote staff and farm facilities. This hybrid position involves remote work supplemented by at least two days per week on-site at our farm to manage physical infrastructure and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve connectivity, Wi-Fi, and networking hardware issues including routers and switches.
• Install and maintain CCTV and IP camera systems.
• Provide comprehensive technical assistance for laptops, desktops, and printers.
• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Azure VMs, and Hyper-V.
• Handle hardware installations, system upgrades, and general IT equipment configuration.
• Ensure the security and stability of the farm's digital infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting.
• Practical expertise with networking equipment and surveillance systems.
• Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Azure and Hyper-V is considered a plus.
• Ability to work independently to solve technical challenges.
• Must be able to commute to the Batticaloa farm at least twice weekly.
