Junior Executive - Actuarial

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze movements in the General Insurance business and prepare insightful management information and reports.
• Develop Python-based applications and automation tools to calculate branch-level and policy-level profitability.
• Perform data reconciliation and validate data transfers between the core insurance system and accounting databases.
• Validate General Insurance data, prepare analytical datasets, and support advanced statistical analyses using techniques such as Generalized Linear Models (GLMs) and Machine Learning.
• Assist in the automation process of finance-related activities.
• Perform any other actuarial or analytical duties assigned by the management.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Mathematics or Statistics degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 02 years of experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
• Strong IT skills, in particular advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, R, and Python.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Innovative and passionate to learn.
• Attention to detail and focused on achieving results.
• Possession of insurance-related qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
