Junior Associate - Shipping and Freight Forwarding

Job Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and send cargo arrival notices.
- Finalize inward cargo manifests and coordinate with Main Line Operators for customs reporting.
- Identify special cargo such as transshipment and groupage cargo and inform relevant parties accordingly.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to the TLM system.
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo operations.
- Maintain proper cargo records and documentation.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate or graduate qualification in Supply Chain & Logistics or an equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 passes at GCE O/L, including a Credit (C) in Mathematics.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Work will follow the Maldives calendar, with working hours from Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The position allows up to four (4) days of work from home per week.
