Junior Attorney-at-Law with Notarial Licence
John Wilson Partners invites applications from dedicated legal professionals to join a law practice with over 125 years of history. The selected candidate will handle notarial and general legal work, independently managing assigned files, deadlines and client correspondence under the supervision of senior partners.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute deeds, agreements, powers of attorney and other notarial documents.
- Review title deeds, plans and searches relating to property and notarial matters.
- Conduct legal research on legislation, case law and procedural matters.
- Maintain organized client files and report regularly to the Managing Principal.
Mandatory Requirements
- Admitted and enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- A valid Notarial Licence in English or Sinhala is a must.
- 1-3 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong research and drafting skills.
