Requirements

• Following or completed a degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Hands-on experience in conducting security threat and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience in cloud security posture management and cloud vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks (Vnets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints, Azure Load Balancer, and Application Gateway (WAF).
• Good understanding of Cloud Security Operations (Cloud SOC) with the ability to analyse logs, build detections, and propose threat mitigation strategies.
• Experience using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, ELK Stack, LogRhythm, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of cloud security threats, malware protection, and vulnerability management.
• Cloud security certifications will be an added advantage (AZ-104, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, or AZ-509).
• Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Ability to quickly adopt new technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with a positive attitude.

Job Role

• Deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services, databases, containerized workloads, and Linux-based environments.
• Design, review, and implement security solutions, security controls, and monitoring for clients.
• Monitor troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources to ensure performance, availability, security posture and cost efficiency.
• Identify information security gaps and support remediation initiatives.
• Support Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental documentation.
