Junior Engineer

Role Summary

Uga Ulagalla is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our Engineering Team and support the smooth operation and maintenance of our luxury resort facilities. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, comfortable, and seamless environment for both our guests and team members.

Requirements/Qualifications

• A Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar position in engineering, maintenance, or technical operations, preferably within the hospitality or luxury resort sector.
• Strong Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems, and other hotel engineering operations.
• Operational Excellence: Ability to identify technical issues, troubleshoot efficiently, and ensure all engineering systems operate safely and effectively while complying with company standards.
• Team Player with Good Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support other departments.
• Professional Qualifications: Full or part qualifications with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Technical certifications or professional memberships will be a definite advantage.
