Graduate GenAI Developer for FPGA Workflows
We are seeking a proactive Graduate Developer with a passion for both hardware engineering and automation. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Digital Design and Artificial Intelligence, helping to build prototype AI tools that improve the productivity of our hardware development team. You do not need to be a senior hardware designer; your main focus will be using code to automate the hardware development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Workflow Automation: Develop automation scripts that connect LLM APIs to digital design and verification workflows.
- Tool Integration: Help build code that bridges AI models with standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software toolchains.
- Prompt & Script Engineering: Help develop specialized script-generation agents capable of writing clean, synthesis-ready HDL (Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL) based on predefined constraints.
- Automated Verification: Assist in testing AI agents that generate testbenches or parse compilation/timing logs to identify errors.
- Knowledge Base Support: Help organize hardware manuals, vector data, and context documentation so AI agents can reference architectural guidelines accurately.
Skills & Qualifications (Fresh Graduate):
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, VLSI Design, or a related field.
- Hardware Literacy: Understanding of the digital design flow, logic synthesis, hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL), and standard EDA software (e.g., Vivado, Quartus).
- Programming Skills: Competency in Python for scripting, text parsing, or general automation.
- Eagerness to Learn AI: Basic understanding of API calling, web structures (REST, JSON), and LLM prompt engineering. Any exposure to AI agent frameworks (like LangGraph) or vector search is an asset.
