Junior Generative AI Engineer
Graduate Generative AI Engineer (MATLAB & Simulink)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Generative AI Engineer to join our AI team. In this role, you will assist in developing and testing automated workflows that connect Generative AI (LLMs) with MATLAB and Simulink environments. This is an entry-level position where you will learn to build intelligent loops and engineering automation tools under the mentorship of senior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Scripting & Integration: Write Python and MATLAB scripts using the MATLAB Engine API to bridge AI models with localized software installations.
- Agentic Support: Help build and test basic autonomous agent routines tasked with generating, debugging, and refactoring MATLAB code.
- Simulation Automation: Write code to automate the execution of multi-variable system simulations and data visualization pipelines.
- Context Gathering: Help maintain and curate technical documentation, code libraries, and engineering manuals for use in AI context systems (Retrieval-Augmented Generation / RAG).
- Workflow Testing: Ensure proper Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) check gates are functioning so senior engineers can review AI-generated code.
Skills & Qualifications (Fresh Graduate):
- Education: Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or a related technical field.
- MATLAB Fundamentals: Strong academic exposure to MATLAB/Simulink programming, or other simulation toolboxes.
- Python Skills: Solid foundation in Python programming and an interest in working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude).
- Curiosity for AI: Familiarity with basic AI concepts (prompts, APIs, JSON formatting). Experience or interest in emerging frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a plus but not required.
