Junior Lead Planner (Apparel Industry)

A Junior Lead Planner is a senior-level professional responsible for overseeing production planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure the efficient delivery of products on time. The Junior Lead Planner works closely with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Technical, Industrial Engineering, Production, and Operations to optimize capacity, align resources, and support company goals. They drive planning efficiency, accuracy, and agility to meet both short-term deadlines and long-term production strategies.

Our Requirements are...

  • Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules in line with confirmed orders, sales forecasts, and capacity availability.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to address delays, bottlenecks, and urgent order changes.
  • Oversee material requirements planning to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Analyze production performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Junior Lead, guide, and mentor planning team members to meet departmental KPIs.
  • Implement planning policies, procedures, and best practices for workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with management to forecast capacity needs and align with business growth plans.
  • Ensure ERP data accuracy and maintain up-to-date production records.
  • Generate reports on schedule adherence, output performance, and capacity utilization for management review.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in production planning, preferably in [Apparel / manufacturing].
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex planning issues.
