Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of breeder, grower, and layer farms to achieve production, quality, and performance targets.
• Monitor flock health, biosecurity, vaccination programmes, and animal welfare to maintain healthy and productive birds.
• Supervise farm employees, allocate work, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of production, egg collection, feed consumption, mortality, medication, and other farm activities.
• Monitor farm performance, identify operational issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Animal Science, Agriculture, Livestock Production, or a related field.
• 2-5 years' experience in commercial poultry farming, preferably in breeder, grower operations.
• Poultry management, flock health, biosecurity, vaccination, production monitoring, record keeping, MS Office.
• Professional certification in poultry/livestock management or animal health (preferred). Valid driving licence (preferred).
• Fluency in English and Sinhala.
