Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Role Summary

Dherana International Pvt Ltd is a BOI approved landscaping company operating for 15 years in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying and minimum 2 years of experience in the construction field.
• Excellent knowledge of conditions of contract, monitoring interim bills, sub-contractor bills, and materials lists.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English and Sinhala.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of post-contract procedure and preparing cash flow.
• Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Participating in meetings, site visits, and briefing the management.
• Responsible for competitive pricing using contract drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Prepare cost-benefit analysis and cash flow preparation.
• Preparing interim payment applications, final bill payments, and follow-up.
• Preparing sub-contract payment rate analysis.
• Calling suppliers and sub-contractors for quotations and evaluations.
• Maintain a self-motivated and organized character.
