Aluminium Technical Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise aluminium fabrication, structural glazing, glass façade and cladding installations.
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and approved material submissions.
- Prepare material requirements, cutting lists and fabrication details.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, suppliers and site teams.
- Monitor site measurements, installation quality, workmanship and progress.
- Ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, safety requirements and project schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
- NDT, HNDE, NCT, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Construction or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in aluminium fabrication, glazing, façades or cladding works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office will be an advantage.
QS Trainees
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with taking-off quantities from drawings and specifications.
- Support the preparation of estimates, BOQs, quotations and material schedules.
- Assist with subcontractor and supplier quotation comparisons.
- Maintain records of site measurements, variations and material usage.
- Support the preparation of interim valuations, cost reports and variation submissions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently following or recently completed a Degree, HND, Diploma, NCT or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Basic knowledge of quantity take-offs, estimating, BOQ preparation and construction materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- Suitable for freshers and students seeking practical industry experience.
Trainee Site Supervisors
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily site supervision and coordination of workers and subcontractors.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, material usage and site progress.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and instructions.
- Support site safety, housekeeping and quality inspections.
- Report delays, defects, shortages and other site issues to the project team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- School leavers or candidates with a technical college, vocational training or construction-related qualification.
- Previous site experience will be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong interest in developing a career in construction site management.
- Good leadership, communication and coordination skills.
- Disciplined, responsible and willing to learn.
