As a Sectional Head, you will be a guiding force for Junior School, working closely with the Principal and academic staff to ensure a high standard of teaching, learning, and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Academic Leadership: Oversee the curriculum delivery, lesson planning, and assessment strategies for your designated grade.
• Team Mentorship: Supervise, evaluate, and provide ongoing professional support to grade-level teachers.
• Student Welfare: Monitor student progress, behavior, and emotional well-being, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
• Parent Partnership: Act as the primary liaison between the school and parents regarding academic progress and grade-specific events.
• Administration: Manage academic functions, grade-level assemblies, and extracurricular integration.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (A Master's Degree or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education is an added advantage).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in primary education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in modern educational technology.
• Language: Fluency in English and Sinhala/Tamil if applicable.
