Junior Software Engineer

Role Summary

TryU Global is seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on advancing AI-driven retail technology by contributing to the growth and scaling of a specialized fashion technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, design, and upkeep of the virtual try-on platform and associated web services.
• Develop server-side logic and implement various backend functionalities.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Identify and resolve software bugs to ensure system stability.
• Work alongside design, product, and QA departments to ensure high-standard delivery.
• Incorporate AI-driven APIs and components into the existing architecture.
• Ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and high-performing.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with backend web development, including server-side frameworks and database management.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modular coding practices.
• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or comparable practical experience).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development environments.
• Strong communication abilities and a capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
• Prior exposure to e-commerce, computer vision, or AI technologies is considered an advantage.
