Role Summary

Trainee Team Leader / Supervisor - RoRo and Bulk

This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily RoRo terminal operations while serving as the primary frontline contact point for outsourced operational team members. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and productive execution of cargo handling activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate outsourced personnel and monitor operational performance.
• Enforce safety and quality standards.
• Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to achieve productivity targets.
• Ensure smooth terminal operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Transport & Logistics Management or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years for Degree holders or 5 years for Diploma holders, preferably in port, terminal, or shipping operations with exposure to supervising teams.
• Focus on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Multiskilling ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and PR skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and terminal operational IT systems.
• Ability to work shifts and meet operational deadlines.
