Lab Technician

Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Collect, prepare, and process biological specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Implement and adhere to Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols to ensure accurate test results and maintain laboratory standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to support quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
• Valid registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
• Minimum 01 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
• Candidates with hands on experience in ELISA machines would be an added advantage.
